Russian President Vladimir putin has said that the war in Ukraine is a “precaution against aggression” by NATO.
He stated this during a speech at the Victory Day parade in Moscow.
“Last December, we offered to sign a security agreement. All in vain … NATO countries did not want to hear from us, they had completely different plans. We were threatened with invasion of our territory, including Crimea. It was obvious that clashes with neo-Nazis “The danger will increase day by day, and Russia has given a warning against aggression”, – Putin said.
Despite the predictions of many analysts and military experts, putin did not declare war on Ukraine and mobilize in russia.
As reported, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi in his speech on the occasion of the Day of Victory over Nazism stated that very soon there will be two Victory Days in Ukraine, and no one will have any left.
