Nuland noted the heroic against the Ukrainians.

The war in Ukraine will probably not end diplomatically, but will last until its complete victory.
This was stated by Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland to RBC-Ukraine, answering questions about where the outcome of the war will be decided: on the battlefield or at the negotiating table.
“Obviously, if putin sincerely wanted to sit at the negotiating table, at any moment of his choice, even tonight, he could declare a ceasefire, and we could negotiate at the table. This would be the right, dignified and moral step. Or give up completely. So it’s in his hands. And we would like it to end diplomatically. But if putin does not want to be sincere, and if he continues to insist on Ukraine’s capitulation, the Ukrainians will continue to fight, and we will continue to help you until this fight is won”, – she said.
As for the timing of the war, Nuland said that the United States believes in Ukraine’s victory and hopes that it will happen as soon as possible, so they are giving everything necessary for it.
“We see how Ukraine fought incredibly bravely and suffered losses, but we also see the huge losses of the russian side killed and wounded. We see their destroyed equipment. We see how they lose a huge number of tanks, modern systems, aircraft, weapons. which putin cannot replace because no one is helping him in this and because he lacks russian youth who are ready to fight in this terrible, vicious, cruel, immoral war”, – she said.
Earlier today, British intelligence reported that due to Ukraine’s strong resistance, russia’s territorial conquests in the Donbas were limited and achieved at the cost of significant losses.
