The first German Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled howitzers are already at the front.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov.

“German Panzerhaubitze 2000 with trained Ukrainian crews has appeared in the Ukrainian artillery family,” he said.

According to Reznikov, this is the sixth type of 155-mm artillery that strengthens Ukrainian defense.

“Our soldiers are already beating the enemy with the help of M777, FH70, M109, AHS Krab and Caesar. From now on, Ph2000 has joined this” club of the best “,” the minister added.

He added that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny will use them 100% effectively on the battlefield.

“Of course, a special thank you to our gunners, who have already become a world legend. I would also like to thank my German partners for the support we continue to count on. I appreciate the efforts of my colleague, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht,” Reznikov said.

Earlier, Oleksiy Arestovych, an adviser to the head of the President’s Office, told the German newspaper Bild that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was responsible for the dead Ukrainians because he did not give Ukraine the heavy weapons he had promised.

Scholz said his country was helping Ukraine more than “almost anyone else”. However, Germany delivered only a third of the weapons promised to Ukraine.
