As of April 8, 2022, the balance on the special account opened by the National Bank to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine is almost UAH 72 million.
This was reported by the press service of the NBU.
In general, the National Bank has already transferred almost UAH 14.7 billion to the military. In particular, more than UAH 4.7 billion in foreign currency came from abroad.
The balance on the account of the Ministry of Social Policy, which the National Bank opened for humanitarian purposes, is UAH 320.5 million, about half of the funds came from abroad in foreign currency.
In addition, the Ministry of Social Policy, which is the recipient and administrator of these funds, has already transferred more than 76.5 million UAH from it to provide humanitarian assistance to victims of armed aggression by the Russian Federation.
