The strike contradicts recent promises by russian president Vladimir putin to safely cross the Black Sea from Ukrainian merchant shipping ports.

The russian occupiers destroyed in Nikolaev the second largest grain terminal in Ukraine.
This was announced by EU Foreign Minister Josep Borrell, writes CNN.
“Another russian missile strike, contributing to the global food crisis. Russian troops have destroyed the second largest grain terminal in Ukraine in Nikolaev”, – Borrel wrote.
Borrel said the strike contradicted recent promises by russian president Vladimir putin to safely cross the Black Sea from Ukrainian ports for merchant shipping.
“putin’s misinformation to dispel accusations is becoming increasingly cynical”, – he wrote.
According to the mayor of Nikolaev Alexander Senkevich, on June 4 the russian occupiers fired at object of infrastructure. As a result, warehouses with grain meal exploded. Extinguishing the fire lasted until June 6.
Pictures on social media on Sunday show that the terminal was engulfed in flames. Mykolayiv is located near one of the most fertile grain regions of Ukraine.
