“This morning in the Black Sea, Harpoon missiles hit the tugboat of the Black Sea Fleet “Vasily Bekh”while transporting ammunition, weapons, personnel and SAM “TOR” to Snake Island. Congratulations to the cruiser “Moscow”!” – he said.
According to OK “South”, previously, managed to hit 70% of the crew. The fate of the rest is unknown. Enemy ships are trying to conduct a search and rescue operation.
The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the hit on the tug on its Facebook page.
“In the Black Sea, the tugboat of the Black Sea Fleet “Vasily Bekh” was hit while transporting ammunition, weapons and personnel of the Black Sea Fleet to Snake Island”, – the statement said.
It is noted that even the presence on board of the anti-aircraft missile system “TOR” was not an obstacle for the Ukrainian Navy to “demilitarize” the Russian invaders.
It is worth noting that the tug “Vasily Bekh” was built at the Astrakhan shipyard with a capacity of 1605 tons. He was accepted into the Russian Black Sea Fleet in 2017.
