Citizens in the occupied territories can continue to stay in touch with Ukraine: listening to old radios on old waves on medium waves.

The russian occupiers cut off fiber-optic trunk lines and cut off power to operators’ equipment in Kherson and parts of Zaporizhia region.
This was reported by the press service of the State Special Service.
“The problems that arose simultaneously with all mobile operators, as well as with fixed Internet service providers, are nothing more than another attempt by the occupier to leave Ukrainians without access to truthful information about the course of the war waged by russia against Ukraine; and make its false propaganda an unalterable source of information, as is being done in russia itself”, – the statement said.
Experts suggest that the disconnection in the newly occupied territories may be due, in particular, to the racists’ intentions to hold a pseudo-referendum for the creation of the “Kherson people’s republic”.
Thanks to the connection, Ukrainians were able to express their position and organize actions against the russian occupation.
At the same time, the racists are spreading fakes that the Ukrainian authorities have allegedly cut off communication.
The State Special Communications Service emphasizes that Ukraine always advocates maximum access of Ukrainians to communications. And the National Center for Operational and Technical Management of Telecommunications Networks (NCU) at the State Special Communications Service before the war and at the beginning of the invasion expressed the unequivocal position of the state – operators must provide Ukrainians with communication and access to information.
“The disconnection of the Ukrainian connection, as well as the introduction of the aggressor country’s currency and the forced payment of taxes by businesses to the occupying entities, should at least create the appearance of a new quasi-formation for russian domestic consumption. Against this background, to feed the russians the fake results of a possible fake referendum”, – the State Special Communications Service emphasizes.
Ukrainians in the occupied territories are asked to move to other regions if possible.
Citizens in the occupied territories can continue to stay in touch with Ukraine: listen to old radios on medium waves (1278, 1404, 873, 657 kHz).
Ukrainian channels are also decoded on the satellite:
- satellite: Hotbird 13;
- frequency: 11,219 MHz;
- polarization: H (horizontal);
- symbolic speed: 29,900;
- error correction: FEC 3/5.
As it was reported earlier, in the territory of the Kherson area cellular communication of all Ukrainian operators disappeared. The same goes for mobile internet – you can’t connect to it.
Intelligence believes that the racists will try to hold a fake “referendum” on the “kpr” by May 9, as putin at the parade in Moscow must give citizens “at least some success.”
According to British intelligence, russia is aiming for a prolonged occupation of the Kherson region, as evidenced by the illegal introduction of the ruble and the establishment of puppet administrations.
On the evening of April 30, the General Staff announced that russian troops were preparing to reach the administrative borders of the Kherson region.
